Although we’re always on the lookout for new Ecommerce trends that will impact our customers and suggest new enhancements for our GoECart 360 end-to-end commerce solution for multi-channel retailers, participating in the primary research for the guide did crystallize our thoughts on some matters.

  3. Leveraging online marketplaces and omni-channel selling to drive sales. Native integration with leading marketplaces like Amazon and EBay is going to be a core requirement for Ecommerce platforms. Progressive merchants want to be omni-channel present and they want the process to be seamless.
  4. Big data is of paramount importance in e-commerce and online marketing. Big data enables businesses to gather insights about their customers through monitoring their purchasing habits and decisions. Big data is also very beneficial for creating sales forecasts. E-commerce businesses must pay attention to not only sales, but also website performance such as shopping cart conversion ratios, and customer behaviors on the site) to determine what they need to improve in the future.
